A precious life was lost due to an iliac aneurysm. Kari Lynn Olander-David died on Dec. 7, 2019, at Essentia Health – St. Mary’s in Duluth.  She fought a good fight but it wasn’t hers to win.

Kari grew up in Blaine, where she attended Jefferson Elementary, Northdale Middle School and graduated in 1987 from Blaine Senior High.

She is survived by her husband, Andrew David of Hinckley and her two sons who were the light of her life, Evan Olander Melhouse of Moorhead, and Conor Olander Melhouse of Hinckley. She is also survived by her parents, Dean and Gloria Olander of Blaine, and by her brother Ray Olander and sister-in-law Melanie Olander of East Bethel, as well as many out of state relatives and friends.

 A celebration of life will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2019, at Tatting-Methven Funeral Home, Hinckley.
