To the Editor:

The coronavirus epidemic and all the cleaning and disinfecting brings the local petroleum stations into question.  How often do the stations clean and disinfect the pumps?  Or do they ever clean and disinfect? Everyone has their hands on them. When I was in high school no one was allowed to touch the pumps. The local attendant would pump a couple bucks worth of gasoline in my Terraplane every week, at $.15 a gallon and that was almost a tank full.  I didn’t even need to get out of my car.
