MUNCH TOWNSHIP NOTICE OF MEETING SCHEDULE 2020

The Munch Board of Supervisors will meet at Munch Town Hall at 32387 Cedar Creek Rd, Hinckley at 7 pm on the following 2020 Tuesday dates: January 21, February 18, March 17, April 21, May 12, June 23, July 21, August 18, September 15, October 27, & November 17.  The Organizational Meeting will be held on March 17 after the Board Meeting.  The Annual Town Meeting shall occur also at Munch Town Hall on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, following town elections and the Board of Canvass meeting, at 8 pm.  (In case of inclement weather, the elections and these meetings shall be rescheduled to March 17.)  There is no meeting in December.  The meetings are open to the public.  Changes shall be posted on the Town Hall bulletin board.

Recommendation to approve Ord # 20-01 was presented to Council on January 8, 2020 and was then passed.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 beginning at approximately 6:30 p.m. the City Council of the City of Pine City will hold a public hearing to obtain public comments, review and approve or deny the following item:

1) Ordinance #20-02, Amending Chapter 10, Section 10.700.100 Shorelands, to include shoreland flexibility standards consistent with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources regulatory recommendation.

All proposed amendments to the ordinances and draft resolutions are available for viewing at the City Hall office located at 315 Main St S, Ste. 100, on the Pine City website: pinecitygov.com or at the Pine City Library.

All persons interested in being heard on these matters are encouraged to attend.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 beginning at approximately 6:30pm the Pine City Planning Commission will hold two public hearings to obtain public comments and review the following items:

VARIANCE

A variance request for Premier Properties to consider a reduction in the number of off-street parking spaces and for an extended completion time at parcel #42.001.6000 located within the Mixed Use (MXU) district at 1100 Main St S.

MINOR SUBDIVISION & LOT COMBINATION

A Minor Subdivision and Lot Rearrangement request for the City of Pine City to combine parcel #42.5447.000, a section of the Pine City Fire Hall with the entire Fire Hall parcel and to separate Robinson Park, the Pine City Public Library and Pine City Fire Department which all currently share parcel #42.5318.001.

This is a regularly scheduled 2020 meeting of the Planning Commission, which is held on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m.

All interested persons are encouraged to attend and be heard on this matter.

Royalton Township Notice of Annual Meeting, Election of Officers, Public Accuracy Test, Absentee Voting, and Board of Canvass

Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Royalton Township, County of Pine, State of Minnesota, that the Annual Election of Town Officers and Annual Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at Royalton Town Hall. The polling hours are from 12:00 pm (noon) to 8:00 pm, at which time the voters will elect:

One Supervisor – 3-year term

One Clerk – 2-year term

The Royalton Township Annual Meeting will commence at 8:15 pm, March 10, 2020, to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law.

The Board of Canvass will meet immediately following the Annual Meeting.

The Clerk’s Office will be open for absentee voting for the Annual Township Election on Saturday, March 7, 2020, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm (noon) at the Town Hall or by appointment with Clerk, 320-396-2982.  Absentee ballots will be available on February 7, 2020.

Public accuracy test of Automark assistive voting equipment will be done on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at 10:00 am, at Royalton Town Hall, 6052 Royalton Road, Braham MN.

In case of inclement weather, the election and meeting may be postponed until the third Tuesday in March.

The unsurveyed North One-Half of the North One-Half of the North One-Half of the Southeast One-Fourth (N ½ of N ½ of N ½ of SE ¼), Section Twenty Two (22), Township Forty Two North (42N), Range Sixteen West (16W), Pine County, Minnesota, according to the U.S. Government Survey thereof.

The object of this action is to obtain an Order for the following relief:

a. Determining, adjudging, and decreeing that Defendants Jack G. Ruby, Thomas L. Ruby, Suzanna M. Ruby, Robert M. Ruby, and all other persons unknown herein have no right, title, interest, estate, or lien in or upon the said real estate described herein as the Walter Property.
