An expansion project at Kanabec Hospital has started which will extend the hospital’s Entrance B to create a new reception and waiting area. Many people who prefer using Entrance B will soon have access to all the comforts and conveniences found in the reception and waiting areas at Entrance A without the traffic of the emergency department.

The warm and welcoming space will feature a vaulted wood ceiling, fireplace, aquarium, gift shop and food kiosk. The project will also include a covered walkway from the handicapped parking area to the hospital’s entrance and improved directional signs inside and outside.
