The Kennedy Family and Trade Lake Camp have invited Grantsburg area residents and others who helped find Keith Kennedy to a community-wide celebration.

It will be held Saturday, August 2 at the Crex Meadows from 4-11 p.m.

There will be music, hugs, door prizes and lots of stories to tell.

As some may recall, Keith was lost in the woods near the Trade Lake camp for one week and was finally rescued.

He has recovered and now it's time to celebrate.

This is the second celebration. The first was in St. Paul on July 19.

The Kennedys agreed on this celebration, "To help celebrate the rescue against all odds and the miraculous recovery of their cherished son — and to thanks the hundreds of people, friends and strangers alike, who contributed their time, efforts and prayers to help find Keith."
