I was so very sorry that we did not get to play this season out, and get the chance to defend our section championship and Granite Ridge conference championship. These gentlemen are an incredible group of young men that are not only talented in tennis and other sports; but they are gifted in so many ways in life, and I look forward to seeing what they will bring to this world.  I am, and have always been, very honored and humbled to be their tennis coach.  Thank you to all of them for all they have given to the program over the years.

The greatest reward for a coach is to watch the growth of their players, not only as an athlete but as young men also.  I wish them the very best in the future.  For the young men that are returning, I know they will continue to lead the program in a positive way.

With mixed emotions I am announcing that I will be stepping down as the Dragon Boys’ Tennis Coach effective July 1. I am taking on the position of Activities Director at Pine City, and much of my time and energy will be going into this position. I am still going to be their biggest fan and cheerleader. And, hopefully, I will still get out on the court to help out from time to time.
